Why do I need to pay a Deposit?

Deposits are taken to protect businesses from loss of earnings due to cancellations and no-shows.

Much like any service you would receive as a human, you are usually expected to pay a deposit or in full when booking an appointment; whether it be a salon appointment, a private treatment, or an activity.

Deposits are taken at the Business' discretion, so the amount you pay will vary, if you pay any deposit at all.

Pet businesses are no different!

Failing to attend an appointment or last-minute cancellations has a larger impact than just the schedule, so paying a deposit helps reduce the impact on the business and prevent loss of earnings; especially if they can't fill the appointment or time slot.

The amount you pay will vary from business to business, and depends on what service you're booking for; the deposit should be listed when booking the appointment.
