Is my Deposit refundable?

Created by Jessica Hoi, Modified on Thu, 12 Sep at 9:29 AM by Jessica Hoi

Cancellations and no-shows have knock on affects on the business, and it is often difficult to fill the slot on short notice.

In most cases, if a Business takes a deposit, it is non-refundable as this protects their loss of income and time if they cannot fill the appointment slot.

Please check with the Business if deposits are refundable, and review their cancellation policy. If you can't find the information on Pata Marketplace, contact the business directly to confirm. This should be done before booking any appointments to avoid any disputes.

Sometimes life just happens, so if you feel you have exceptional circumstances or they were out of your control, let them know and they can review the refund request.
