Adding and managing Services

Note: Categories and Team Members must be added first before Services can be created.

How do I add a Service?
- Navigate to the Catalogue section by clicking on the Catalogue icon on the side menu
- Click the Add dropdown, and then select Add Service
- Add General info
- Click Next and add Pricing
- Name the price option
- Select the Duration of the service from the dropdown
- Select the Price Type from the dropdown
- Input the price
Note: Do not include tax rates in this price. Tax Rates are added in the settings section below.
- Optional adding of Additional Time - add processing, and block out time before and after the service. This is helpful to allow time in between appointments, for example, to clean up
- Click Next and add Workplaces
- Select the Workplaces where this Service will be available by clicking on them
- Click Next and add Team Members
- Add Team Members who can provide the Service by clicking on them
Note: If this is empty, you'll need to add Team Members to Workplaces
- Add Team Members who can provide the Service by clicking on them
- Click Next and add Settings
- Use the toggles to turn on/off
- Parallel bookings allowed (multiple bookings can be taken at the same time with the same Team Member. Helpful if doing Group Walks
- Enable the Service so Clients can search for the Service
- Feature the Service on your profile to advertise the Service
- Allow Online Bookings so Clients can book the service on the Marketplace
- Select the Pet Type from the dropdown - this is multiple-select
- Exclude specific breeds from the dropdown
- Input Deposit fee percentage
- Select the Tax Rate from the dropdown.
Note: If there are no options here, you'll need to add Tax Rates in your Business settings. Tax rates apply on Checkout when the Client books on Marketplace
- Use the toggles to turn on/off
- Click Save
Your Service will then be added to your Catalogue.
How do I edit existing Services?
- Navigate to the Catalogue section by clicking on the Catalogue icon on the side menu
- Click on the Service you want to edit
- Select the relevant tabs and update the information
- Click Save
Please note: Updating the service will reflect in the Marketplace, but existing appointments will not be affected. This include if you update Team Members or Workplaces.
We suggest you fulfil the existing appointments where possible, and if not, get in touch with the customer to cancel the appointment, reschedule with another Team Member, or arrange an alternative service.
How do I remove Services?
- Navigate to the Catalogue section by clicking on the Catalogue icon on the side menu
- Click on the Service you want to edit
- Click Delete
Please note: Deleting the service will reflect in the Marketplace, but existing appointments will not be affected.
We suggest you fulfil the existing appointments where possible, and if not, get in touch with the customer to either arrange an alternative service or cancel the appointment.
Managing multi-pricing
If you've selected the From Price type, the amount input on Price will be the minimum the Client is charged for the service. This allows you to charge different amounts depending on the service, pet type/breed and size, whether any specialist treatment needs to be given, etc.
Examples:
Category - Grooming
Service - Pamper
Price Option 1 - Wash, cut and dry from £30, 1 hour
Price Option 2 - Wash, cut, dry and nail clipping from £40, 1 hour 15 minutes
Price Option 3 - Full Pamper from £60, 1 hour 30 minutes
Price Option 4 - Add-on treatment, Fixed £15, 10 minutes
Category - Dog Walking
Service - Private (1:1)
Price Option 1 - General walk, Fixed £25, 1 hour
Price Option 2 - Private (1:1) with training, From £40, 1 hour 15 minutes
